Liv Makeup Tutoral

How to look like Liv from iZombie:

You will need:

A light foundation

Ben Nye Clown White

Setting Powder

Finishing Spray

A grey/toupe eyeliner/browliner/eyeshadow

A pallet of eye shadows (you will need grey, purple, toupe, and red)

Brown, smudgeable eyeliner

Mascara

White matte Lip Tar lipstick
A Nude Pink lip liner

I’m not doing the full white makeup in this tutorial.
White vs mixed (not measured here)
You don’t want to use just the plain white, or you will look like a clown.  Liv is not WHITE.  She is incredibly pale.  I scoop out about an inch long worth of Ben Nye. I then add a pump and a half of my foundation and mix those together.  Mix well!  Spread it on yourself smoothly, mixing it in.  Make sure you don’t have streaks or missing spots.  Then, using a big brush, brush the powder on to set it.  This takes out a lot of the oiliness.  Spray your arms, chest, neck, etc with the setting spray, but not your face.

Using the brown eyeliner, line the lower water line.  Also put the liner on your top lid – it does not have to be perfect here.

Now smudge the top line by moving your finger to your brow.

Using a medium grey, apply eye shadow to your lids.  This helps add a complex duality.

Now purple.  Do a heavy coat of this purple over the grey on your lids.

With a very light coat, apply the purple to the crease and brow.

You want to get the inner corner of the eye.

Apply a slightly heavier coat under your bottom lashes.

Take the taupe eye shadow and do a < or > shape on the outer corners of your eye.  This darkens it up and adds a nice smokiness.

Now for the most annoying part.  The red.  You are likely to get powder in your eye.  I apologize here.

Take a smaller, thin brush and apply the red right above the lashes.  Like with the purple, apply along the bottom lashes.  You want to do as thin of a line as you can.  Do not cover all of the purple.

You want to follow the entire shape of the eye, including inner and outer corners.

Mascara time.  Apply to the top and bottom of top lashes in a heavy coat.  Apply to bottom lashes more lightly.

The grey/taupe eyeliner/browliner/eyeshadow is for your eyebrow.  Liv has greyish eyebrows.  Apply and blend.

For the lips, I used a white matte lip tar, which literally paints on.

However, as you can see, it is too white!

Add a light layer of the nude pink lip liner to put some color back in.

Upper-lip has liner. Lower just white.

You will constantly have to check your lips throughout the day.

Now spray the finishing spray on your face.  Done!

Keep in mind that the makeup will look different in every photo. (and in person).  All of these pictures below are from the SAME DAY.
